Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti marks the birth anniversary of one of India’s great spiritual reformers and the founder of the Arya Samaj. He called for a return to the authority of the Vedas, opposed social evils, and strongly promoted education, equality, and rational thinking. On this day, followers organize havan, Vedic chanting, lectures, and community service. His teachings, especially through the book Satyarth Prakash, continue to inspire people toward truth, moral living, and social upliftment.
