The story follows two sisters, Sowmya and Meenakshi, who live with their mother in Chennai after losing their family’s wealth. Sowmya is mature, practical, and emotionally reserved, while Meenakshi is lively, impulsive, and openly expressive. Their contrasting personalities shape how they deal with love and life.
Sowmya dreams of becoming a writer and meets Manohar, a sensitive and thoughtful man who appreciates her talent and strength. Though there is a deep emotional connection between them, misunderstandings and unspoken feelings keep them apart for a long time.
