Around August 26, 2026, a glacier-related collapse in the Himalayan region triggered severe flooding and flash floods. In a matter of moments, powerful water currents damaged roads, bridges, homes and vital infrastructure. 🌊🏠
Many people have lost their lives, while others are still missing. Families are desperately waiting for news of their loved ones, and rescue operations have become extremely difficult in the remote mountainous areas. 🚁🙏
🇮🇳❤️ But Nepal is not alone in this difficult time.
As a neighboring country and close friend, India has stepped forward to help Nepal. India has sent essential relief supplies, medicines, blankets, shelter materials and other emergency assistance.
