In 2026, Diwali will be celebrated on Sunday, November 8. According to the Hindu calendar, the Amavasya Tithi of Kartik month begins at 11:27 AM on November 8 and ends at 12:31 PM on November 9. Due to the significance of Pradosh Kaal, Lakshmi Puja will be held on the evening of Nov 8. The auspicious timing for Puja is from 5:54 PM to 7:50 PM. The festival marks Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya, celebrated by lighting lamps and worshipping Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha for prosperity.
