The purpose of Paramhans Parivrajakacharya Shreemad Vasudevanand Saraswati (Tembe) Swami Maharaj’s (1854-1914) life was revealed to him by Lord Dattatreya when he ordered him to travel all over INDIA and preach the Sanatan vedic path and bring back the people gone astray from Varnashram dharma. He traversed the country for 23 years following strictly the harsh discipline of the Sanyas Ashram.
