If you are receiving silent calls from unknown numbers, do not ignore them.
Scammers use automated systems to place thousands of calls. The moment you answer and say “Hello”, your number gets marked as active. The call is then disconnected, and your number may be added to target lists for future scams.
Remember:
• Do not repeatedly engage with unknown silent calls
• Disconnect such calls immediately
• Block repeated unknown numbers
• Report suspicious numbers through the NCRP “Check & Report” section
