New Book to Promote Kashmiri Language To promote the Kashmiri language among the younger generation, noted writer Gazi Gh. Nabi Kashmiri launched his latest book “Chiyer Kayazi Gov”" Dair kiew Howe" in Srinagar. The launch drew writers, poets, teachers, and students, all committed to preserving and enriching the linguistic heritage of the Valley. The book “Chiyer Kayazi Gov” has been specially written for youngsters, blending storytelling with moral lessons to spark curiosity about Kashmiri reading and writing. Educators present at the event hailed it as a much-needed initiative at a time when global languages dominate classrooms and households, often overshadowing mother tongues.
