PT Usha: hosting 2030 Commonwealth Games fulfils long-held dream
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha said she was delighted that India has secured the hosting rights for the 2030 Commonwealth Games (CWG), calling it a dream she has cherished both as an athlete and as IOA chief. The Games, to be held in Ahmedabad, will mark the 100th anniversary of the CWG and are expected to strengthen India’s bid for the 2036 Olympics.
