🔹 Vested Interest (Section 19 TPA)
• Right is created immediately
• Not dependent on any condition
• Enjoyment may be postponed
• Heritable and transferable
🔹 Contingent Interest (Section 21 TPA)
• Depends on the happening of an uncertain event
• Right is conditional
• If the condition fails, the interest fails
• Transferability and heritability depend on the contingency

✔ Contingent Interest = Conditional Right
