Sauls son however; acts with loyalty He remains focused on His mission flealing and compassion  and love, protecting David and speaking truth t0 his father: Short Reflection These readings show how the human heart can move in two very different directions Saul allows jealousy to harden his heart and destroy relationships, while Jonathan chooses loyalty and goodness In the Gospel, Jesus responds to popularity not with pride; but with humility and mercy We are invited to examine our own hearts do we allow jealousy and fear to control us, or do we choose humility truth and compassion, following the example of Christ?
