Pavna Industries Begins Construction of Hosur Plant
Pavna Industries Limited has begun construction of a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, strengthening its footprint in southern India. The company marked the occasion with a groundbreaking ceremony, announcing a first-phase investment of ₹50 crore. Operations are expected to commence later in 2026.
Strategically located near major automotive OEMs in the region, the Hosur plant will initially supply critical automotive components, helping improve production capacity and logistics efficiency. Managing Director Swapnil Jain described the project as a key milestone in the company’s expansion and a contributor to local economic development.
Founded in 1994 (originally Pavna Locks Limited), Pavna Industries manufactures components for passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial and off-road vehicles. Its product portfolio includes ignition switches, fuel tank caps, latches, auto locks, oil pumps, throttle bodies, and casting components.
With existing plants in Aligarh, Aurangabad, #ஓசூர் and Pantnagar, and customers such as Bajaj, Honda, TVS, Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Ashok Leyland, and Eicher Motors, the company also exports to markets including Italy, the US, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Sudan, and Bangladesh.
