"𝖠𝖣𝖵𝖠𝖭𝖢𝖤𝖣 𝖬𝖤𝖱𝖱𝖸 𝖷 𝖬𝖠𝖲 𝖤𝖵𝖤𝖱𝖸𝖮𝖭𝖤 🎄🎁" Today was our Christmas celebration at the university, and as I paused for a moment amid the lights, laughter, and music, gratitude quietly filled my heart. A year has passed since I became part of this place, and what once felt unfamiliar now feels like home. Being here no longer feels like just studying at a university—it feels like belonging to a family that celebrates together, grows together, and embraces one another warmly. Every Christmas carries its own uniqueness, and this year was no exception. There was something especially beautiful about how each department designed its own Christmas tree, reflecting creativity, teamwork, and shared joy. Alongside them stood the university’s grand central tree, glowing proudly, as if symbolizing unity among diversity. Seeing every student participate made the celebration feel alive, collective, and deeply meaningful. The entire program was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. From the decorations to the performances, everything flowed seamlessly and elegantly. It wasn’t just an event—it was an experience that reflected dedication, harmony, and the spirit of togetherness. Each moment felt intentional, leaving behind memories that will linger far beyond the season. This marks my second Christmas in Seoul, and it feels special in ways words can barely capture. Being away from home during the holidays can be difficult, yet here I felt warmth instead of distance. The city lights, winter air, and festive spirit blended perfectly with the kindness of the people around me, making this celebration feel complete. More than anything, I feel overwhelmed—in the most beautiful way—by how I am treated here. Never once did I feel like an outsider. Instead, I was welcomed, included, and made to feel like one among them. That sense of acceptance is a gift far greater than any decoration or celebration. As this year comes to a close, I carry with me not just memories, but gratitude, growth, and quiet joy. This Christmas reminded me how far I’ve come, how much I’ve learned, and how meaningful it is to find family in unexpected places.
