Dense fog continues to grip Punjab, with the Meteorological Department predicting cold day–like conditions in eight districts and light rain in several areas, including Amritsar and Gurdaspur. On Monday morning around 7 am, poor visibility due to fog led to a major road accident near the Indian Oil Depot on the Jalandhar–Ludhiana highway, where a truck collided with two buses while climbing a flyover.
