🌿 Samosa Chaat Recipe
🍴 Ingredients
For Chole Base
1 cup white chickpeas (soaked overnight & boiled)
1 onion – chopped
1 tomato – pureed
1 green chili – slit
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 black cardamom
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chole masala (optional)
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
For Chaat Assembly
2 crispy samosas (store-bought or homemade)
½ cup whisked yogurt
2 tbsp green chutney
2 tbsp tamarind chutney
¼ cup chopped onions
2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp sev (bhujia)
Pomegranate seeds – handful
Fresh coriander – chopped
Chaat masala & roasted cumin powder – to sprinkle

👩🍳 Method
Step 1: Cook Chole
1. Heat oil, add cumin & whole spices.
2. Add onion, fry golden. Add ginger-garlic paste.
3. Add tomato puree & cook till oil separates.
4. Add powdered spices, then boiled chickpeas.
5. Simmer until thick & flavorful.
Step 2: Assemble Chaat
1. Break hot samosa into chunks on a plate.
2. Pour spicy chole over it.
3. Add yogurt, green chutney & tamarind chutney.
4. Sprinkle onions, tomatoes, sev, and pomegranate.
5. Garnish with coriander, cumin powder, and chaat masala.
