Doing good deeds and refraining from bad ones doesn’t just build your Ākhirah — it beautifies your Dunyā too. As Allah ﷻ says: “Whoever does righteousness, male or female, while he is a believer — We will surely grant them a good life.” (Surah An-Nahl, 16:97) And the opposite is true as well: “But whoever turns away from My remembrance — indeed, he will have a depressed life.” (Surah Ta-Ha, 20:124) So how can we expect abundant rizq while disobeying the very King who owns it?
