Today Revelation Meditation : 28/11/2025 The book of Revelation Explanation Post -170 XV.6) “Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midair call out in a loud voice: ‘Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!’” (Revelation 8:13) Dear servants of the Lord, After the first four trumpets are blown, before the next three trumpets begin, this intervening vision is shown to John, the divine writer. He sees an eagle flying in the middle of the sky. In the original Scriptures, the word used is “eagle” instead of “angel.” “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.” (Matthew 24:28) “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) “The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times, and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.” (Revelation 12:14) Dear children of God, These Scriptures strongly indicate that the word “eagle,” not “angel,” is used. Whether an angel or an eagle is flying in the middle of the sky — in the heavens, or the midheaven — the message announced reveals the severity of the coming judgments of God. John hears that the remaining three trumpets will bring terrible distress upon the sinful people of the earth. The word “woe” in Hebrew expresses deep sorrow, unbearable grief, and calamity. The threefold cry — “Woe, woe, woe!” — declares that each of the coming three trumpet judgments will be individually dreadful. All three will bring direct disaster upon the people of the earth. God will use the deceived and wicked spirits themselves as instruments of judgment, making these events truly terrifying. The three great woes announced by the eagle are: 🔮 i) The torment caused in five months by the locusts that rise from the Abyss. (Revelation 9:1–12) 🔮 ii) The destruction brought for a set period by the vast cavalry of the four angels released at the Euphrates River. (Revelation 9:13–21) 🔮 iii) Satan’s direct activity on the earth. (Revelation 11:3–15; 12:4; 13:12–18) Dear holy people of God, “In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; He pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.” (Psalm 75:8) According to this Scripture, when the 5th, 6th, and 7th trumpets are blown, the people of the earth will face terrible judgments. No one will be able to escape these severe afflictions. Beloved saints of the Lord, We who are living in this age of grace must remember: “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2) If we use this time of grace to truly repent, receive forgiveness, obtain salvation, and be transformed into the likeness of Christ from glory to glory, we will be prepared. At the end of the first 3½ years of the Antichrist’s rule, we will be taken to the place of refuge in the wilderness and be nourished there throughout the remaining 3½ years. We will not fall into the great tribulation of the final 3½ years. Thus, at the end of the seven-year reign of the Antichrist, during the secret coming of Jesus, we will be gathered to Him as the bride and receive eternal grace.
