Following directions from the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Punjab Police disposed of 7,402 seized vehicles parked in police stations across the state within one month. Before the drive, there were 55,721 vehicles, and during the campaign, 3,355 more were seized for traffic violations and illegal activities. Currently, 51,674 vehicles remain in custody. Jalandhar Commissionerate led the disposal with 779 vehicles, followed by Moga and Bathinda. DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that strict action against criminals and inventory management of seized assets will continue under relevant legal provisions.
