A 21-year-old state-level badminton player from Rajasthan was beaten to death in Faridabad, Haryana. The victim had arrived in Faridabad to join a police investigation regarding his elopement with a 16-year-old girl. The girl's family allegedly kidnapped him, held him hostage, and assaulted him severely. He succumbed to his injuries in a hospital while on ventilator support.
