The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has announced the implementation of four new Town Planning (TP) schemes (Nos. 42, 43, 44, and 45) covering 968.75 acres in areas like Patrapada, Bhagabanpur, and Bijipur. Part of the Odisha government's 'Samrudha Sahar' initiative, these schemes aim at planned urbanization through a land-pooling model where owners contribute 40% of their land for infrastructure and receive 60% as developed plots. The project will ensure integrated facilities like roads, water supply, and parks.
