The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has set a record by planting 1.5 million indigenous saplings in just 12 hours across Bengaluru. Around 50,000 to 60,000 volunteers participated in this massive green drive covering 244 acres under the Miyawaki forest model. Locations included Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout and Shivaram Karanth Layout.
