Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings by 23 runs in Dharamshala to become the first team to qualify for the IPL playoffs this season. RCB posted a massive total of 222/4, thanks to half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer. In response, Punjab Kings could only manage 199/8 in their 20 overs.
