The Human Rights Protection Cell (HRPC) has intensified its investigation into the custodial death of a disabled youth at Kabisuryanagar police station in Ganjam. A 4-member HRPC team met the Ganjam SP to discuss the case and will examine the station's CCTV footage for transparency. Following the incident, all staff members of the Kabisuryanagar police station have been transferred, and a new IIC has been appointed.
