Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT and KISS, has been honored by Montana State University for his outstanding contributions to tribal empowerment and education. He is the first Indian and non-American to receive this recognition in Montana. He was also presented with the 'Global Visionary Award' by the Montana World Affairs Council in the presence of Governor Greg Gianforte and other dignitaries.
