A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Liuzhou city in the Guangxi region of southwest China on Monday morning. The quake, centered only 8km deep in Liunan district, caused 13 buildings to collapse and led to the death of an elderly couple. Over 7,000 people have been evacuated from the area. Rescue teams successfully pulled a 91-year-old survivor from the rubble after several hours.
