A male elephant was found dead in Porangal forest under Narla range in Kalahandi district. The death reportedly occurred due to a fight between two tuskers. Forest officials reached the spot two days later due to the presence of other elephants in the area. Following a post-mortem examination by a team of veterinary doctors, the elephant was buried on the spot.
