The Punjab Police's Dial-112 Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) system has seen Khanna district emerge as the leader in response times across the state. Under the leadership of SSP Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia, Khanna Police recorded an average response time of just 7 minutes and 31 seconds, outperforming major cities like Ludhiana and Amritsar. The state average stands at 11 minutes and 22 seconds. With the fleet expanding from 7 to 18 vehicles in Khanna and the implementation of GPS and MDT technology, the police aim to further reduce the response time to 6 minutes to ensure public safety and transparency.
