Sundargarh MLA Yogesh Kumar Singh took matters into his own hands after local administration failed to act against illegal fly ash transportation. The MLA, along with his supporters, intercepted 7 overloaded trucks carrying fly ash at Kirei Chhak on Biju Expressway. These trucks, coming from Jharsuguda, were allegedly dumping toxic ash in agricultural fields and rivers. The seized vehicles will be handed over to the RTO for fines.
