A Mohali court has sentenced former Vigilance SP Amandeep Kaur and businessman Rajinder Singh Gopi to three years in prison in the 15-year-old Ranjit Singh ETO suicide case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each. Ranjit Singh, an Excise and Taxation Officer, committed suicide in April 2011 after being allegedly framed in a bribery case by the vigilance department.
