Two people were killed by lightning strikes in the Laxmipur block of Koraput district on Sunday afternoon. One victim, Jamir Sheikh from West Bengal, was a businessman who took shelter under a tree during a storm. The other victim, Bablu Hikaka, was a student who was out grazing sheep in Dumuri Padar village.
