According to this verse, we can understand that the angel flying in midair warns that three great woes will come upon the earth when the last three trumpets are sounded. According to Revelation 9:1-11, we can see that severe torments occur for five months through locusts like scorpions. According to Revelation 9:13-21, we can see severe deaths and massive destruction on the earth for twelve months through horses of fire.
