The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned PSPCL Chairman-cum-CMD Vasant Garg (IAS) to its Delhi headquarters regarding the return of a Rs 1.97 crore bank guarantee to companies linked to Minister Sanjeev Arora. The ED is investigating how the guarantee was returned on February 3, just a day after the request, without the mandatory submission of a new guarantee.
