The All India Motor & Goods Transport Association (AIMGTA) has written to the government seeking a reduction in petrol and diesel prices as international crude oil prices have fallen below $90 per barrel. The association highlighted that high fuel costs are increasing transport expenses, affecting businesses and consumers. Despite the global drop, oil companies recently hiked prices by nearly ₹8 per liter. Meanwhile, the Petroleum Ministry assured that India has sufficient stocks of fuel and LPG, with plans to maintain at least a 30-day reserve. https://sambad.in/business/transporters-demand-petrol-diesel-price-cut-india-11893643 #creator program
