Hativariguda village, located just 2 km from Jeypore town in Koraput district, remains deprived of basic amenities despite being established 70 years ago. The 35 tribal and Harijan families face severe issues including broken concrete roads, lack of safe drinking water, and no local Anganwadi center. Due to the poor road conditions, ambulances cannot reach the village. Residents rely on the Patra river for water as solar tanks and tube wells are defunct. While Swachh Bharat Mission is promoted widely, no toilets have been built in the village.
