In a shocking incident in Naregal village of Haveri district, a clash broke out between two communities during a traditional bull-taming event on Kara Hunnime. The violence erupted after firecrackers were burst in front of a mosque. A mob allegedly attacked farmers with lethal weapons, leading to a farmer's hand being severed. Over eight people were injured, with three in critical condition at KIMS Hospital, Hubli.
