A major rebellion has surfaced within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) as 20 MPs have decided to break away and support the NDA. Led by Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Shatabdi Roy, the dissident group met with Union Minister Bhupender Yadav at his Delhi residence. The move comes as TMC chief Mamata Banerjee was attending an INDIA bloc meeting in the capital. Senior leader Sukhendu Sekhar Ray has also resigned from his post, fueling the crisis.
