The Uttar Pradesh government has formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe allegations of financial irregularities in donations to the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Following complaints from former accountant Mahipal Singh and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the investigation. The SIT includes IAS officer Vijay Vishwas Pant, IG Kiran, and Special Secretary of Finance Neel Rattan.
