Punjab's Sex Ratio at Birth (SRB) improved slightly from 922 in 2024 to 924 in 2025. However, 14 out of 23 districts, primarily in the Malwa region, witnessed a decline. Nawanshahr leads with 964, while Sri Muktsar Sahib recorded the lowest at 891. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's home district, Sangrur, also saw a continuous decline over three years.
