A young man named David Masih from Tarn Taran was murdered with sharp-edged weapons in the Bohdu Pul area of Amritsar over suspicions of an extra-marital affair. The victim's wife alleged that Ashok Kumar, the husband of a neighbor, attacked David after following him. David sustained fatal injuries to his neck and chest and died at the hospital.
