The Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank has established a sophisticated Cyber Security Center in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, costing ₹40 crore. The center aims to protect district cooperative banks from cyber attacks and secure depositors' funds. Currently, four district banks including Sindhudurg and Satara are utilizing this service, with Pune District Bank set to join soon. Cooperation Commissioner Pravin Devare has mandated all 31 district banks in the state to adopt this free facility.
