Odisha cadre IPS officer Swathi S. Kumar is set to join the Intelligence Bureau (IB) as Joint Deputy Director on central deputation. The 2017 batch officer, currently serving as the SP of Odisha's Special Task Force (STF), has received approval from the State Police Headquarters and the DGP. Known for her commendable work against organized crime and cybercrime, she has previously served as SP in Rayagada and Gajapati districts.
