The CBI has re-registered a case into the suspicious death of Nikhil, a youth from Suryapet district, following High Court orders. Nikhil went missing on October 9, 2022, and his body was found with injuries in the Nagarjuna Sagar canal the next day. Dissatisfied with the local police investigation, his family approached the High Court alleging murder due to a love affair.
