Mehakpreet Kaur, a farmer's daughter from Ropar, Punjab, has secured All India Rank 1 in the Air Force Academy (AFA) merit list. Another cadet from the same institute (Mai Bhago AFPI), Komalpreet Kaur from Amritsar, achieved AIR 18 in the NDA exam.
