The Odisha Cabinet has approved the 'Land Bank for Hospitality Infrastructure' scheme to address land scarcity in the tourism sector. Over 5,500 acres of land will be identified across 14 tourist locations including Chilika, Puri, and Konark. The project has a budget of 1,500 crore INR for five years (2026-31).
