In a major crackdown against illegal immigrants, Ahmedabad police and Crime Branch arrested 131 Bangladeshi nationals during a midnight operation. Around 160 other suspects were detained for questioning. The raids were conducted in areas like Chandola and Gulabnagar. Investigations revealed the use of forged documents including fake voter IDs to stay illegally.
