Renowned science educator and Sikh community leader Dr. IJ Singh passed away on May 12. Born in 1937 in Gujranwala, he moved to the US in 1960 and became an Emeritus Professor of Anatomical Sciences at NYU. Notably, he represented the Sikh community at the 9/11 memorial service following an invitation from Barack Obama.
