The ancient Jagannath temple in Boudh celebrated Snana Purnima with rituals. The deities were bathed with 108 pots of holy water from the Mahanadi river. Lord Jagannath appeared in the majestic Gaja Besha (Elephant attire) in the afternoon. A unique tradition was observed where Lord Sudarshana was seated between Jagannath and Subhadra, differing from the tradition in Puri.
