On the holy occasion of Debasnana Purnima, Lord Jagannath and the other deities at the Nabarangpur Jagannath temple performed their ritual bath with 108 pitchers of water. Following the rituals, the deities appeared in the divine Gajanana (Elephant) Besha to bless the devotees. The ceremony was conducted under the supervision of Rajpurohit Narasingha Tripathy. After public viewing until 10 PM, the deities will be taken to Anasara Ghara.
