The burglary took place while the homeowner, an auto driver, and his wife were away at work. The miscreants broke into the house and stole approximately 70,000 rupees in cash along with various gold ornaments including mangalsutras, rings, and chains. After the owners discovered the theft in the afternoon, a formal complaint was lodged at the Bonai police station. Police have arrived at the scene and launched an investigation.
