The annual Amarnath Yatra has officially begun in Jammu and Kashmir. Pilgrims from Baltal and Nunwan base camps have started their journey to the holy cave shrine located at an altitude of 3,880 meters. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first batch of 4,809 pilgrims on Thursday.
