Punjab's Gurindervir Singh set a new national record in the men's 100m sprint at the National Senior Athletics Federation Competition, clocking 10.09 seconds. He became the first Indian to run sub-10.10 seconds, surpassing Animesh Kujur's brief record. Gurindervir also qualified for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. His achievement is significant given his past financial struggles, where he once couldn't afford running shoes, and he now holds the second-fastest time in Asia this season. https://punjab.news18.com/news/sports/who-is-gurindervir-singh-snatches-100m-national-record-from-animesh-kujur-in-stunning-race-struggle-story-national-senior-athletics-federation-competition-transpg-972111.html #Creator program
